You Need The Power Of The Holy Spirit Beautiful People…Believe!
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I had something happen recently that made me think back to this time in my life. I just need to tell you about it this beautiful Sunday morning.
I totally forgot my grandsons school program. I wanted to go hear him sing his little heart out and it totally slipped my mind. The day was unfolding at work and when I remembered I looked at my watch and it was too late. I did drive to the school and watched the people get in their cars. I was so upset with myself for not paying closer attention to the time and the events of the day. That evening, I was at my granddaughter’s program and my grandson, and I was looking at the pictures that his mom had sent me of his program. A big smile came across his face and he said I knew it Grammy, I knew you were there. I just didn’t see you. Daddy, I told you Grammy was there, we just didn’t see her. I didn’t have the heart to saying anything. I remained silent, omission. It reminded me of a meeting I was at years ago.
I had been fasting and praying for these meetings. I was not in charge per se but was overseeing the event. I was in my cabin praying and the Holy Spirit brought this to my mind. You don’t tell people about me. I argued it out a bit as I said I didn’t want to be divisive. I wanted to obey authority, and they didn’t believe in the workings of the Holy Spirit at that time. He took me to the book of James and taught me about omission. I felt terrible inside. I cried and told him, I was so sorry. I would not omit the power of the Holy Spirit any longer. I would tell everyone they need the Holy Spirit. I made my way down to the meeting space from my cabin that rainy evening and the Holy Spirit had already set it up. The power of God was already moving in that room. It was a genuine move, but man ended up shutting it down in the days that followed. They didn’t believe in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Today, I must tell you. You need the power of the Holy Spirit. John tells us in Matthew 3:11 that I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Acts 2 tells us all about the day of Pentecost and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Read it today and asked to be filled to overflowing. Amen? Amen!
Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit and fire. Baptize us fresh today!
