The God Of Promise And Dominion…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Sometimes I think about tomorrow and my thoughts can quickly get a bit anxious and I ponder how things will turn out. God tells us in Matthew 6:25-34; Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life. “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
I remember a time I was trying to help someone I loved deeply. I gave everything I had, even thinking I could fast a whole week without food to help this individual that included my grocery money that week. On the fourth day of the fast, I knew I just couldn’t make it. I was hungry, I became anxious and I cried out to God. I was honest before him. I am hungry God and I can’t make it, I did say. I wanted to with all my heart as I was fasting and praying for this person I cared deeply for and invested a lot of my life in. At that very moment, a knock came on the door and there stood a neighbor up the street. Angel, my wife wanted you to have some fresh green beans and new potatoes, he did say. I will never forget that day. God had showed me he heard every prayer and he truly was and will always be the God of enough. He fulfills his promise to all his beautiful people.
No matter what you have need of today beautiful people, lift it up before a God that promises to supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippian’s 4;19).
I was thinking this morning of creation and what God created on the fourth day. Genesis 1 tells us that he spoke light into existence. The lights (sun, moon, stars) he placed in the sky to mark day and night, seasons, and years. Here’s to a new season beautiful people and let the light of the Holy Spirit that dwells within you guide you and lead you every day.
Let’s pray:
Father, today we meditate on your promises. Romans 8:28 tells us that we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Father, shine your light in America today. We will cast a vote today, but ultimately, we put all our trust in you. You fulfill your every promise and are watching over your Word to fulfil it. (Jeremiah 1:12) In you alone, we put our trust. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Never forget who created this world (Genesis 1) and who formed you in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and who is over the nations of the world.
For dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations. – Psalms 22:28
