To The God That Sees On Thankful Thursday In The City…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Thursday. God tells us in everything to give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) That scripture alone is some pretty big orders in giving thanks for everything. He also tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 to Trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding; in all our ways submit to him, and he will make our paths straight. That’s a good promise to remember this morning as we pray for our own lives and our city.
I’ve met some pretty interesting people in our city. One thing I know for sure is that God is in love with people. He is no respecter of persons. He doesn’t love me anymore than he loves you. From the shattered homeless broken person to the President of the largest corporation in our city, God’s mercy is freely given in the same manner. Romans 2:11 tells us God does not show favoritism. Let’s thank God for hope, healing and blessings on our city today. Bells of mercy ring over America once again, we pray.
Let’s pray:
Father, your Word tells us to declare a thing and it would be established. (Job 22:28). We declare revival over our lives, our towns and cities across America today. It’s a new season and we are petitioning the highest authority in both heaven and earth that is watching over his Word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12) Thank you for breaking through the darkness in our city. The darkness cannot overcome the light (John 1:5) no matter how hard it tries. You are a God that does not lie and we stand firmly on your promises in Jesus mighty name.
Father, cleanse our city this morning as only our Good Father can. We pray in unison this morning a prayer we all can agree on no matter the name hanging over the door. The Lord’s Prayer: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. God is interested in your town and city because you live there. You are the apple of his eye. (Psalm 17:8) But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream! (Amos 5:24)
