Have You Seen The Light Of The Cross?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I love the beautiful views of Long Lake here in Maine. It is such a beautiful area, breathtaking really. It is common to see very large lighted crosses on the journey north. I couldn’t help myself after all the trips I have taken up there, but to pull over and view once again a lighted cross in the yard of a homeowner. I have seen several on my journey.
Recently, I went to visit where my parents were buried. I had purchased a beautiful metal butterfly with a solar light for their plot. Although I know they are not there and their spirit is in heaven, I like to visit and thank them for life. I believe they have joined the cloud of witnesses cheering me on as Hebrews 12 talks about.
This morning if you haven’t seen the light of the cross, you can. Wherever you are, God can reveal his light and his love to you, just by asking. There is no one he will turn away. He can and will turn your darkness into light.
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. (Isaiah 42:16)
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for another day to journey life with Jesus. May you draw many to yourself today. Father, you said it is not by might, nor by power, but by your spirit. Spirit draw them today we pray. (Zechariah 4:6)
Father, just like the butterfly, freedom is found in you. (John 8:36) Set your people free today as they call on you. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Father, lead our day by the power of the Holy Spirit, we pray. Another day to journey life filled with your light and love to the world around us. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Thank him for the light of the cross.
