Burdened? Happy Thursday…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I know a beautiful person that sings this song locally. As Naiomi strums her guitar and sings God Is Able, you can feel the weight lift right off people’s shoulders. Everything changes when God takes over your burden.
Today if you are feeling heavy, weighted down and burdened, let’s pray and sing this song knowing that God is well able to handle all that is on our shoulders today. Amen?
Father, thank you that we have your Word on every situation that arises. You tell us to cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. (Psalm 55:22)
Father, 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our anxieties on you because you care for us. To take your yoke all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)
Father, we cast all our burdens, and all our cares knowing that you are well able to care for everything that concerns us today. Amen.
