Have You Considered This? Angel’s Prayer Of The Day…

Have You Considered This?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Last evening I felt the draw of the big old Tabernacle in Bridgewater, Maine. I like to pray for all the campgrounds, campmeetings, etc that are bringing the good news, the best news I have ever heard, to my part of the world. As a young girl I attended one year as a camper to this campground. Someday, I will put those experiences on paper.

Pastor Jonathan Randall from Oxford, Maine sang Consider the Lillies and it really blessed me last evening. The rather young preacher with a funky haircut stirred my faith to believe for bigger things than where I am now.  I want to share the song this morning.

I think of all the changes in our nation and world. I ponder at times how things are going to turn out for all the beautiful people. The writer of this song really put it in perspective as I listened to the words once again. I pray it will for you as well.

Let’s Pray:

Father, we have a lot to consider this morning. Your Word tells us a lot in Matthew 6 (read the whole chapter today). Verse 25 -34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Father, we pray today for wisdom for our leaders. We put our trust in you, oh God in a world that is changing fast. Father, thank you for meeting the needs of your people. Heavenly Father, you said not to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Father, meet us today on the journey called life as we cast all our concerns on you. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people, no worries, God holds your every day.

P.S. Did I tell you my favorite flower is the pink glazed Lilly?
