Contending For Aroostook…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Last night I joined a group of young folks and beyond as they prayed for Aroostook County. We all desire for the Son to shine like never before as we pray for our part of the country.
I believe in the prayer of agreement. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe that the strongholds over our counties, regions and states are being torn down because of the power of prayer. Will you contend with us this morning for Aroostook County? We will contend with you for your part of the world as well. Aroostook County is the largest area of any county in New England.
It is God’s heart that none would perish. His heart should be our heart beautiful people. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
Today, let’s join faith for Aroostook. Let’s ask him to ignite the spark that has been lit in this part of the world. Are you in?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that you hear every prayer. You said to call on you and you would answer (Jeremiah 33:3).
Father, we lift up the County of Aroostook to you this morning. We declare it’s a new day! You tell us to decree a thing, and it would be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. (Job 22:28)
Father, when we were dead in our sins and in the uncircumcision of our flesh, you oh God made us alive with Christ. You forgave us all our sins, canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; and took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, you made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. (Colossians 2:13) Father, we ask you to do the same for the people of Aroostook County and beyond.
Father, you said it is not by might, nor by power but by your spirit. (Zechariah 4:6) Father, we come into agreement all across this globe today for the county of Aroostook. We are thanking you God for the wind of the Holy Spirit that is blowing across this land today. Amen.
