Another Step In Destiny…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. At church yesterday I couldn’t help but think of one of my brothers as we sang that song, Jesus Never Fails. He would call at times, and we would pray about things together and sing some of his favorite songs. His deep voice I can still hear today when I think of him. I learned a lot from him throughout my years here on earth. Of course, I thought he was the best, he was my brother. The things he did for people in secret was a lesson I never forgot. I try to do the same.
I remember praying about an international trip which required me to obtain a passport. It was years ago now. I pondered and prayed hard if it was God calling me to go, I just wasn’t sure. I still use google maps here in this rural area in which I live. God calling me beyond my comfort zone seemed a bit scary to me. I wouldn’t be able to figure out all the details of my own path ahead.
The mail came one day and a check from my brother was enclosed with a note, I feel God is calling you to get your passport. I pondered if we had ever discussed the matter, but either way I knew the time had come to step out into the waters a little deeper.
How about you today? What’s stopping you from your next step? Deep calleth unto deep this morning? Are you ready to step out? We soon will be ringing in a New Year. Leaving the past behind and entering a new season, a new year in Christ.

Father, thank you that you journey life with us every day of every year. We soon will be stepping into a new year, a new season. The greatest gift ever received was the gift of journeying life with you. The gift of our salvation.
Father, prepare our hearts to go deeper in 2026. May you continue to work your promises out in our lives as we surrender and put our trust in you. Highlight the path ahead and may we be found faithful in all that you entrust us with. Take us out into the deep, the deep waters of Jesus Christ. Amen.
