We Bow Our Knee…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s been hard to pen words as I continue to pray for Texas. This tragedy and loss of lives have been hard for the human mind to process. There are times there are no words, and we pray in the spirit. God’s Word tells us in Romans that the spirit would intercede. This has been true during this time for me.
There are times when I just have no words, and I bend my knee before a God that sees and knows everything and pray in the spirit. He looks at the heart and the heart hurts for the families in Texas. Although, we may not know these families and Texas seems far away they are part of our world. God’s word tells us to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those that weep. (Romans 12:15)
As we continue to pray for a state in need healing, let the spirit intercede if you have no words. Holy Spirit come this morning as we pray for the families in Texas and beyond. Amen.
Father, fill the state of Texas with your presence this morning. Visit them, Oh God in ways beyond whatever man could do. Heal the hearts of your people in Texas we pray. We grieve with these families. Holy Spirit, comforter heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds, we pray. Amen. Psalm 147:3
Father together all across this globe we pray, Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
