Time To Go Higher With Jesus…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As I reflect this morning on some common themes, some Words that were consistent in my week last week journeying with Jesus, I am excited.
Last week I prayed at a church with a group of people. The rather young but gifted leader gave some instructions to mediate and listen for God. He said do whatever position and if you write or draw do it however we wanted. I took my pencil and began to write as I love to communicate with God through writing. This is what I penned.
I praise you Lord, you are so, so good to me. I love you more than I love my own life. I love you more than any house, any car, any clothing- I just love you, Lord! Then this is what I continued to pen. You are mine and I am yours. Dance with me. See me in your every day. I’m Jesus-you are mine. I choose. Not as the world chooses. Then I wrote the word gratitude, and then our time was up.
The week before at prayer meeting, I heard the lyrics to a song Speak the Word as the older gray-haired reverend was praying. Yesterday, we heard the same word several times. I brought it to the congregation and the lady on the other side of the sanctuary brought it as well, as the Holy Spirit was sweeping in the place. Two different places of worship, but all the same God.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the greatest outpouring of your spirit this world has ever known. Thank you for double, double. Thank you for filling our youth with fresh fire, blaze spirit blaze all across this globe we pray. Restore to us the years the locusts have eaten according to Your Word, oh God.
Thank you for double, double. Double for the trouble. Jesus be glorified in our lives, our communities, our world. Our eyes are fixed on you. We see the need of the people on the streets that need to dream again, we need to dream again. You, oh God are their living hope. We thank you for pouring out your Holy Spirit in their lives. Rain down healing rain, rain down.
Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers, mighty God. We receive your double rain, double the healing rain. Amen
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Receive!
But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:13
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Matthew 5:7
