Staying In Faith On Thankful Thursday…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Thursday! I was thinking this morning about the things in life that come against us or try to cause us great distress. It is reassuring to know that no weapon formed against us will ever prosper. I remind myself of the scripture in Isaiah 54:17 often. No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord. That’s a good promise. I have seen it over and over again in my own life. Someone will do something and it always comes back on them. That promise alone makes for a great day as we journey life. We don’t need to operate in any fear no matter what is going on around us. We just need to take God at his Word and stay in faith believing. Ready for a great day?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that no weapon formed against us will ever prosper. We have your Word on that. You give your angels charge over us, as Psalm 91 tells us. We will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near us. We will only observe with our eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you.
Father, thank you for giving your angels charge over us once again today, as we journey life with the highest power and authority in heaven and on earth, Jesus Christ. Amen.
