Simply Thankful…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I am thankful for another day to journey life. I didn’t stop to appreciate the days until I got a bit older in life. Every day is a blessing, and a gift from God. It is good to take a look at all we have to be thankful for. Thankful Thursday comes around quite quickly these days as time sure flies by. Seems like a short time ago I was intent on trying to keep the ship afloat with three teenage girls. My oldest daughter just celebrated her 40th birthday. Something seems a bit amiss as I am still trying to pass for 39 myself.
I have noticed a few more white hairs of recent, and some of my grandchildren are into their teen years now. The clock keeps ticking and we get to choose how to do life. I went from big hair to flat hair and from skinny jeans well we better just pray from here.
I pray you simply have a blessed day and choose to be thankful for what is. Amen?

Father, thank you for another day, a day to celebrate the joy of life. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows, James tells us in 1:17.
Father, highlight the things our eyes need to see and let us be quick to hear what your spirit is saying today. Empower us to overcome the barriers of life as we put our trust in you. Guide us today and every day for you know the plans you have for us (Jeremiah 29:11) and we want to fulfill it.
Father, flow through us today by the power of your Holy Spirit and may all we put our hands too be blessed according to your Word. Amen.
