October News…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s a new month, a new day and another new beginning. Every day is a new beginning really. As I am preparing for an upcoming event, I began to pray about what God would have me say. These little gold boxes I made years ago came to mind for a meeting I was speaking at. The word TRUST was written on each box.
When things are good, it’s easy to trust God. When things are difficult, it is not so easy to trust God. I have a friend that would take the Word of God (Bible) and actually stand on it and declare I am standing on God’s promises. She said it helped her stay strong and trust God through some of her darkest times.
Today, let’s stand on the Word of God together and let’s declare we are trusting God. Let’s take him at his Word this morning.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Father, we believe you are working all things out in our world today. Even when we can’t see you working, you are working. Father, we are putting all our trust in you and you alone. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. (Psalm 20:7)
Father, you said in Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Father, thank you for journeying every day with us. Holy Spirit lead and guide us today and every day as we put all our trust in you, in you alone. Amen.
