It’s Another Thankful Thursday…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. We all have things to be thankful for. Even in difficult circumstances we need to remain thankful. We need to see the good in people, good in the world and good even in life’s challenges.
Some of the happiest people I know face obstacles every day. I think of my sister Jen. She is now walking on streets of gold this morning. Born with a rare bone disease and walked with crutches every day, she would bellow out the words to this song, Because He Lives, I Can Face Tomorrow. Although life was full of difficulties, she knew who held her days. He held them in the palm of his hands. I can still remember her telling me one day how thankful she was for her life, even with all of its challenges.
Today, let’s choose to be thankful people. Let’s choose to praise God with all we have. Amen?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for us. Your covenant promises are all yes and amen. Father, your Word tells us in I Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Father, you tell us in Philippians 4:6 to be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be made known unto God. Thank you for the blessings you have bestowed on us. We are rich in you today, because of the price you paid. Thank you for your mercy and grace.
Father, Colossians 4:2 tells us to devote ourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Thank you that you hear us when we call (pray) and you are an amazing Father. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. For this is the day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) Enjoy your day. It won’t come around again.
