Is Your Face In The Mirror Of Gems?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. What do you see when you look in the mirror? Recently, I purchased a mirror that has gems all around it. It has two rows of gems with 55 gems on each row. That’s a lot of gems for a fairly small mirror. As I looked at the mirror, I began to think about the gems that God says we are. We are a precious people to a loving God. We were created in the image of a great God.
Being a word person, I saw words written on each gem. Let’s write some words on our mirror this morning. Ready for a good day?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that you created our my inmost being; you knit us together in our mother’s womb. We praise you because we are fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, we know that full well. Our frame was not hidden from you when we was made in the secret place, when we was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw our unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. (Psalm 139)
Father, we can speak to our mirror this morning because of whom our Father is. You call us beloved.
Father, may positive affirmations be heard in the minds of your people this morning when they look in the mirror. May every negative belief they have about themselves be replaced with what you say. We believe… Amen.
