Is Your Answer ‘Yes’ This Morning?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The river of God is flowing, it sure is. I was listening to a service on YouTube last night from the Washburn Pentecostal Church here in Maine. They have been holding some special meetings this week. I was out to meetings every night this week and I must admit I was running out of steam and didn’t make it there in person. Aimee Semple McPherson sat her tent up on that property some years ago. I attended that church recently on Mother’s Day with my sister. I wanted to honor my precious sister. She has been a faithful supporter of all the ideas I have wanted to do for Jesus. No matter how big or how small, she has always been in my corner praying for me and cheering me on.
It’s been a few years now, I attended the church Aimee Semple McPherson founded in Los Angeles, California. I had signed up for a two-week missions at the Dream Center in California. One of the team members signed us up to work in the kitchen and I had signed us up to work on the streets to pray, feed the homeless and minister. Those two weeks forever changed my life.
As I listened to the preacher last night talk about just saying yes. I found myself saying yes to God once again to whatever he asks this side of heaven. I’ll do it, as long as I know it’s you and you are bidding me to step out on the water. How about you this morning? Is your answer yes to Jesus?

Father, thank you for calling us out to do more for your kingdom. We say yes to your will and to your way. You show the path and lead the way. Wherever you call us and whatever you call us to do, we say yes!
Father, thank you for Jesus, the faithful one. Faithful Jesus lead us step by step to fulfill the purpose you have for our lives. We say yes! Yes, to your will and to your way! Amen.
