Dear God, Help Me To Always See The Best…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have been reading a great book Power Thoughts by Joyce Meyer. I have always loved her ministry. I guess it’s because she is real. She has overcome a lot of obstacles in life and I know it’s because of the power of God and his Word. I think the most powerful book she has ever written is Battlefield Of The Mind.
Between the ears is where the biggest battle is. Staying positive in a negative world takes work. Not being offended and hurt from other people’s actions takes work. One thing we know is this; this side of heaven we all are a work in progress. Thank God for his mercy and grace.
Romans 12:18 tells us, if possible, as far as it depends on us, to live at peace with everyone. I have a tendency if someone hurts me to stay far, far away. Not that I am offended, but I don’t want to hurt anymore. It is very true that hurting people hurt people and there is a lot of hurt in the world today.
Let’s pray this morning for fresh eyes to see the best. Let’s look for the best in others and let’s ask God to make us his very best. Amen?
Father, thank you for another day to journey life with you. Father, we pray that hurts would be healed in your presence today. Father may forgiveness flow like a mighty river across our nations today.
Father, where people have done each other wrong, may forgiveness and grace be extended today. May the truth always rein along with mercy and grace.
Father, we pray and pursue peace and goodwill to all today, in the mighty name of Jesus. Jesus, the greatest name and man who ever walked the earth, and who was full of compassion and love for all the beautiful people. Thank you for your favor. Amen.
