Be United By The Heart Of God…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have been under the weather so to speak and haven’t been able to write in the mornings. I am feeling much better and I would like to ask all of you to join me this morning in praying for the United States Government. I would like to ask all of you that would pray that our government officials would come together for the sake of the people.
To deny people in need to feed themselves and their families in America today is a total disgrace. I have always been proud to be an American and I still am, but this is not the American way. We can help feed the world in which I agree, but we must feed our own people. What are you thinking Washington? Come together and do the right thing.
In Matthew 25:40-45 we read the following “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger, and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
I think we will be surprised who we see in heaven beautiful people. Let’s read this again. Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.
I guess that says it all and there is nothing more to add this morning.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for mercy and grace over America. We join faith today for some unity between the parties governing this nation. Thank you for pouring out your spirit on America, like only a Good Father can. Your Word tells us that you are over the government. (Isaiah 9:6)
Father, we ask you that there would be no one go hungry in our nation. May we see people come together and help folks that are struggling with the basic needs of life. In God We Trust. Just as it is written on our money, that’s where we stand. Not divided by political party but united by the heart of God.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
