America, It’s In God We Trust…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I am waiting for the sun to shine this morning as we journey the days of autumn and harvest. It’s still dark outside on these cool mornings.
It’s a different day in America. Times are changing quite quickly. One thing we can be sure of God will deliver what he has promised. He always has and he always will. He told us in Joel 2:28 what he was going to do through the prophet Jeremiah.
I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm my great army that I sent among you.
You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and that there is no other;
never again will my people be shamed. Joel 2
God’s Word states in Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
I am glad to know the God that will do as his Word says he will. It is in him that we can put our trust.
Today, we receive the Word of the Lord. We believe and declare God’s Word is the most powerful Words on the earth today. Amen.
