Sharing Your Candle…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have a pillow that reads pray more and worry less. Come on now, who has worry? lol. We have all heard the saying about being a worry wart, right? At times I have to take a few steps back and look at God’s record. It’s easy to talk about it, read about it, but not always easy to journey it. Worry is not our portion, trusting God is. How can we go wrong trusting God, the Creator of the Universe? We just can’t.
Today, there are people all around us who are worried. They worry about their tomorrows. Help them light their candle today by sharing yours. Give them a dose of hope and joy today. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, your Word tells us not to worry, to put all our trust in you. That you will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. (Isaiah 26:3)
Father, thank you that just as Abraham believed God and it was accredited to him as righteousness, we believe God and it is accredited to us. Forgive us when we let the cares of this world creep in and overtake our thoughts.
Father, for the souls today needing a dose of hope and joy, we pray they receive it. You know every thought; you see every heart. May their ears hear or their eyes see you working all things together for their good. (Romans 8:28) Amen.
