Greater Impact In 2026… Angel’s Prayer Of The Day

Greater Impact In 2026…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As we were traveling home a few weeks ago after picking up my daughter and family from the airport, we hit a deer. I thought a lot about the details of that night. The first words out of my mouth after the impact were this; everything is ok, we are all ok. Everybody is all ok. I had prayed that morning and I know in whom I place my trust. He would work out the details of everything our family would walk through in the days, weeks and months ahead. I am not so sure about the deer being ok, but it did disappear in the woods.

As a last-minute change before we left that morning, we decided to take my other daughters SUV (in which I call the tank). A last-minute decision to take her larger vehicle so we could shop for some items for Christmas before the plane that carried our precious cargo arrived. We knew they would be accompanied with the two big suitcases just under the capacity limit and with six people we needed the tank. Us ladies like to pack our stuff, right?

My son-in-law was driving, and his calmness was evident. As the trooper came, we discovered there was no damage to the vehicle and we were all ok. We were more than ok. He shined that bright light all around the front of the vehicle with everything appearing just like it had prior to the impact. I had remained inside the warm vehicle and got a flash of the bright light as well. God is good, Amen?

It makes me think of the scriptures in John 1:1-5 this early morning. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that you work out all things for our good. (Romans 8:28) Everything is ok, and we can place our trust in you. No matter what comes our way, you have everything well under control.

Father, thank you that nothing can separate us from your love. Romans 8:35-39 Paul tells us this: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Father, thank you for your love for mankind. Use us for greater impact in 2026. May the light grow brighter within us even in the darkest of times and circumstances.

Father, thank you for your sovereignty. We can rest well knowing that the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. (Psalm 24: 1-3) To that we can be confident in whom we place our trust. Amen.
