Are You Filled To Capacity?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s been a busy few days with the grandkids. On Saturday I interviewed a young man from West Africa living in Maine on my radio show Destiny Moments. He spoke about making straight the way of the Lord. One thing he said that has stayed with me over the weekend and I have been thinking a lot about it is the word capacity, building capacity. Websters defines capacity as the maximum amount that something can contain or produce.
I found myself raising my hands in the studio that day asking God for more capacity. Capacity to contain more of him and also capacity to produce more from my life.
How about you this morning? Do you want more of him? Do you want to do more for him? As we follow Jesus, he makes every crooked path straight. Together, let’s ask for more!
Let’s Pray:
Father, fill us with your Holy Spirit to overflowing this morning. Father, fill our lives with more of you. We desire full to overflowing capacity.
Father, may we bear more fruit for your Kingdom. May the light of Christ shine brightly today through us.
Father, thank you for blessing the work of our hands. May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands. (Psalm 9:17) Amen.
