Yes, God Can Make The Heart Whole Again…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking about mercy once again this morning. I remembered an incident when someone was so rude to me. It felt horrible, terrible really. I was embarrassed and humiliated as this person had more power and position than I. They pointed their finger in my face and yelled at me in this public setting. Horrible, something I would pray never happens to you. I spoke back but in a professional, quiet tone with words that were true. It hurt, but I hit the floor on my knees. For some time when I thought about the person, the incident, I felt the sting. I kept asking God for a right heart. Matthew 5:7 tells us blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. I wanted to be merciful and needed my heart to catch up. God does it beautiful people, he really does it. He heals the heart and makes it whole again.
As this person and I embraced recently, I felt no sting in the heart. It was all gone. Now don’t get me wrong, I won’t be back for more unless God sends me on assignment, but I am thankful that his mercy on my life was enough and his mercy on others life is enough to take care of every sting.
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you that you come into every circumstance we invite you in. No matter what we walk through or are walking through, we can invite you into the situation.
Father, you are a God of love, and you can touch the human heart like no other. Thank you for mercy on our lives. Thank you that we can extend mercy.
Father, heal hearts today as mercy is extended. Forgiveness of offenses and more as your people are being set free because of the power of your Word. You are always watching over your Word to fulfil it. (Jeremiah 1:12) Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. God can make the heart whole again. Believe!
