When The Odds Are Stacked Against You…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have had some rough patches in life and things that have caused deep pain that it’s difficult to even want to talk or write about it. I am sure you have too. Life isn’t always easy nor is it fair and the when the odds are stacked against you, it’s hard to keep that hope alive. But then there’s God and all his promises to us.
Yesterday, I reached out to a friend for some advice and how she handled a certain situation. She shared what helped her make it to the other side. I believe God has a sense of humor beautiful people. She went on to share her devotion for the day on page 90 of Good Morning Beautiful People titled; And God Said And We Believe. Even though I authored the book, I had to take a break and go home and read it for myself once again. Even when the odds are stacked against you, God’s promises always comes through. He is a covenant keeping God and he sees his beautiful people through the storms of life, even when the odds are stacked against us. He always has the final say.
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for another day to journey life with a God that sees the big picture of our lives. Even when the odds are stacked against your people, you make a way. You said to put all our trust in you. That’s exactly what we are doing. You founded the earth and we are keeping our hand in yours.
Father, may hope arise this morning all across this globe, because we are journeying with a God that loves his beautiful people. You will always come through for us even when the odds are stacked against us. We have your very Word. Amen.
