Peace And Favor…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s a beautiful sunny day today. When the darkness leaves and the sun begins to shine in our lives, it makes for a good day. This morning I was thinking what God wants for his people.
Luke 2:14 tells us this: Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your presence this morning. Thank you that your peace is our guide.
Peace, I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3
Father, thank you that we can put all our trust in you as we lean not on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
Father, thank you for your promise this morning that you are working all things out for our good. Romans 8:28
Father, some put their trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7
Father, thank you for favor today. Order our footsteps according to the plan you have for us. Amen.
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. Proverbs 16:9
