Trusting God Through Every Circumstance…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Monday! Yesterday I heard a teaching on trusting God. It’s easy to say we are trusting God, but it is not so easy to do. It brought back to my mind the little gold boxes I made for an event I was planning. It has been several years now that I had made gold boxes the words trust on each box. I believe I was using them for an event at a local church tea. We were collecting food for the Gift (Grace Interfaith Food Table) here in our city. I had kept my trust box for many years until I could barely read the words trust on the box.
When things are good, it’s easy to trust God. When things are difficult, it is not so easy to trust God. Every time God comes through for us, it builds faith for the next step. He promises to work all things out for our good and we must believe without any doubt that is true. (Romans 8:28) I love that about my Good Father. I can put my trust in him.
Let’s pray:
Father, we believe you are working all things out in our world today. Even when we can’t see you working, you are working. Father, we are putting all our trust in you and you alone. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. (Psalm 20:7)
Father, you said in Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Father, thank you for journeying every day with us. Holy Spirit lead and guide us today and every day as we put all our trust in you, in you alone. Amen.
