Double For The Trouble Beautiful People…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Saturday! Jesus is alive and well and his spirit is moving in the land today. I have been here at the Good Morning Prayer Center in Presque Isle, Maine all day. My plan was to come just for the morning. I’ve waited, I’ve prayed with some folks, and I waited on what to write. I waited and waited and waited some more. I received a call from a friend with instructions to read Psalm 121 in which I have.
Then I finally sensed the breakthrough. The breakthrough in prayer that is. We sang that song I want more of you God, more of you during our worship Thursday night. Powerful, it was a powerful night. I am still processing that evening. Tune in again this Thursday night from 6-8 PM Est. for another encounter with the risen king.
I felt the Lord said today Isaiah 61:7-9 Instead of our shame beautiful people, we will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace we will rejoice in our inheritance. And so, we will inherit a double portion in our land, and everlasting joy will be ours. “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness, I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for Jesus. Thank you for removing the shackles and chains off your people and giving them double for all their trouble.
Father years and years of guilt and shame carried by your people, we pray freedom in Jesus’ name. John 8:36 tells us that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We are only free because of Jesus the risen Christ.
Father, today we take the grave clothes off of your people across this globe (John 11:44) and wrap them in your blanket of love. Your heart is full of mercy and grace not just to a few, but to all whom will ask and receive. Amen.
