The Rock Every Town Needs…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Monday! A friend and I visited a town in Maine this weekend. I have felt so drawn there and have driven the almost five hours to try to discover why. Why is this town calling me, I inquire of God every time I visit. As I was walking through the town, I saw a rock that seemed out of place. The only rock I saw placed under a tree, with no other rocks around it. I picked it up and took it with me. Down by the ocean there were lots of rocks and I wrote my name on the rock I had picked up in this beautiful town and the words, I will be back. I like to pray for towns and cities in Maine. I like to see God move on behalf of his beautiful people. Jesus, is the rock every city and town needs.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
Let’s Pray:
Father, visit every town and city in Maine, we pray. (Name your town, city or state and ask God to move right on in). May the spirit of God move and be the rock, the cornerstone in every corner, and change a nation in need of the Savior.
Father, thank you for Jesus. May he lead us today by those quiet still waters as we continue to seek him. Amen.
