Talk It Out, Write It Down And Believe… Angel’s Prayer Of The Day

Talk It Out, Write It Down And Believe…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Saturday! This morning, I could sleep in longer and get a little extra rest, but I wake up to write at three thirty-three. That’s A.M. beautiful people. I love to write. It helps me to remember things better when I write things out. Once in the mind, once out loud and once on paper. Good for the mind, body and soul.

A friend called last night, and we were talking about the good times of when we lived closer. I saw her walking every day and decided I needed to walk as well. I remember raising my living room window and yelled something to get her attention one Saturday morning and ran out to meet her. Needless to say, we began the journey up Skyway hill and around Industrial Park and back to where I lived on Braden at the time. We sometimes walked that route twice a day. The girls were young and they would sometimes take their bikes and go along. Abby, our boxer dog worked hard helping me make that steep hill, God bless her. I remember the day she got sprayed by a skunk on our walk. Talking about skunks…

I have another friend that we would walk around the track at the Middle School here in the Star City in the years that followed. The darkness of the night was still evident at 5:00 AM as we made our way around the track praying and declaring God’s Word over our families, city and nation(s) of the world. Somehow, she got off track and moved to warmer weather. Just kidding. I wish I could tell you how many times we almost got sprayed by a skunk ourselves on that field those early mornings. The black track with white lines along with the darkness of the mornings you just couldn’t tell until you were almost upon the creatures.

Many days have passed now. Days turned into months and months turned into years. It really is true beautiful people, it’s really true. Life is like a vapor. James 4:14 tells us this: Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that. I want to do God’s will more than I want my own will. How about you? I like to talk it all out with him, write down my thoughts after our talk (prayer) and then begin to walk it out. Sometimes I don’t always get it all right. I get sprayed by the skunk so to speak. I have learned to get back up and go again. Every day is a new beginning, and he loves to journey life with us. His Word tells us his mercies are new every morning and great is his faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for the many prayers you have answered and the many answers that are on the way. It’s always a good day talking things out with you in prayer.

Father, we can rest assured that when we don’t get everything right, we serve a God that says there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1) We can begin again.

Father may many talk things out with you today as the veil is removed from their eyes that the god of this age has blinded them. We break off that mind blinding spirit this morning that they will see truth and the truth will set them free. (John 8:32) Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Talk things over today (pray) whatever is on your heart.
