Happy World Down Syndrome Day God’s Most Beautiful People…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Today is World Down Syndrome Day and it is dedicated to raising awareness about Down Syndrome and celebrating individuals around the world living with this genetic condition. I read where the 21st of the third month was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21 chromosomes. They are beautiful people and God has come to give them life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10)
Today, let’s thank God, he makes us all unique. Let’s thank him for the celebration of life and let’s celebrate World Down Syndrome Day.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for life. In Genesis 1:27 we read that all are created in the image of God. Psalm 139 tells us that you, oh God, created our inmost being; you knit us together in our mother’s womb. We praise you because we are fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, and we know that full well. When we were made in the secret place, when we were woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw our unformed body; all the days ordained for us were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Father, today we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. May your blessings be showered upon them today and every day. We are thankful for their lives and all they bring to our world. May every child with the 21st chromosome be blessed with an abundant life according to John 10:10. May they know the love and value they bring to our world and communities. Amen.
Have a blessed World Down Syndrome Day, God’s beautiful people. Bless someone today, because you can.
