A Visitation Of God’s Love…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Sunday! Yesterday at lunch, I felt words bubbling up inside that needed to be spoken out to a beautiful waitress in town. I didn’t know what those words were until I opened my mouth and trusted God to fill it for her. I really was just trying to eat my lunch at a quaint, quiet restaurant before heading to look at something my daughter had for the prayer center. The waitress reminded me she had seen me earlier in the week. I didn’t remember seeing her, but she had lots of details of my previous visit. I am always on the lookout for fish, clam or seafood chowder. Nothing like it in New England.
I knew I had something to say to her, but there was nothing in my mind. Finally, I simply said I have something to say to you. The words came forth for her as if I had penned them weeks before and yet I didn’t know a one a moment earlier. I am always amazed when God does this to speak to someone he loves. That somebody is everyone. He is a God in love with people. She went on to tell me about her son, and I encouraged her to get herself and her son established in a church. She was a daughter that knew her Heavenly Father but lost her footing through the trials of life. She was still his daughter, and he never changed his mind about her. His love for her was beyond what she had experienced growing up learning about Jesus. The dear waitress thanked me and told me how much she needed to hear those words on this day. They were most meaningful to her she went on to try to explain. God used a donkey in the Bible (Numbers 21), and I am thankful that he uses ordinary people like you and I to bring his love to the world. Amen?
Today, let’s thank God for using us today to speak some words, to a soul he loves. Amen?
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for all the beautiful people you died for. (John 3:16)There is no one that you would deny access to your presence.
Father, today we join faith and thank you in advance for bringing your sheep to yourself once again. You are an amazing God and we love journeying life with you.
Father, may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in him, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. May you experience his love in a new dimension today. He loves his sons and his daughters.
