Are You Part Of The River?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking of all the ministries I know that are doing the work of the Lord. He tells us to rejoice with those that rejoice and weep with those that weep. (Romans 12:15) He tells us weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. During the difficulties of life, there is weeping for sure and we all have and will endure those times. That’s when it is nice to have the body of Christ come along beside us and help us through the difficulties of life. We also have times of rejoicing. Times we celebrate from births, weddings, events, and our lives are filled to overflowing with joy unspeakable. It’s nice to have the body of Christ rejoice with us.
No matter what is going on in life we have God’s promise that because of Jesus we will have joy. The weeping will subside and joy will return to your life. Do you believe?
I have been on both sides, the rejoicing and the weeping. Do your part today to be part of the river that is flowing across our nation. The river of God that is.
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you that joy is our portion today because of who our Father is. Romans 15:13 tells us may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in him, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, thank you today for filling our lives with joy unspeakable and full of glory. (1 Peter 1:8)
Father, we know you are moving in our midst. Guide us and show us the way. Send us help from on high, we pray. Amen.
