From Five To Investor…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Last night I reconnected with a friend I met on an adventure I was on from years ago. She is now an investor in real estate. God has brought her a long way in just a few short years. On this trip, where I met this Angel, (yes her name is Angel too) she had needed some funds from her ATM. We walked to the ATM, and she became very upset the machine had charged her five dollars for the transaction. She was mad and was spouting off all over the place and I was a bit nervous at her reaction. Just minutes before she was a total stranger. She had told me she needed her every dollar. I don’t know why I didn’t just give her the five dollars. I guess at the moment I didn’t think that quick. I immediately said, let’s pray, my famous words, right?
I am sure I heard this prayer somewhere in my life, but I don’t remember where. I just prayed a simple prayer something like this; Father, sew up her pockets, let her not lose any more money like that. We ask you to return it to her. She’s your daughter and she needs her five dollars. Thank you for meeting her every need according to your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) Amen.
As we turned the corner and started down the next block, there lay five dollars right in the middle of the sidewalk. I laughed as she picked it up. God is so good. As we were leaving a meeting the next evening with a group of new friends, a woman passed her a card and it had several five-dollar bills in it many, many times over. Maybe more like fifties if I remember correctly. Isn’t God great? You just never know what God is going to do. One thing for sure we know he is on our side.
Let’s sew up some more pockets today. Maybe God will ask you to give to someone five dollars in a card, to make up for a loss, or maybe it will be many, many times over. Who knows what he will ask of us? Let’s just be obedient. Amen?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your Word. You tell us you meet every need we have according to your riches. You lack nothing and neither do we. Thank you that we don’t lose anything. We ask you to return to us every dollar, every transaction that was ever taken from us, because we didn’t know your Word on the situation. We sew up our pockets all across this globe today and declare and decree no more losses. We declare the blessing of Deuteronomy 28 over our lives, our communities and our nation(s).
Father, thank you for returning every dollar we have lost, every transaction that took from us. We just turned another corner and believe you have it all put in place everything we need.
Father, you give to us in so many different ways. Father, we thank you that you are no respecter of persons (Romans 2:11) as you love us all the same. We are all your beautiful people. We just need to invite you in our lives and ask you to forgive us for all that we have or will ever do wrong. Your blood covenant with mankind was and is enough to pay for it all.
Father, your love was enough for you to die for and us to gain life here on earth (John 10:10) and eternal life. Thank you for journeying life with us, your goodness is downright amazing. Our pockets are all sewn up and we are walking blessed according to your Word. Amen.
