Is God The Heart Of Your City?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday I awakened early to take a friend to catch her ride to her next assignment for medical missions. Last week another friend left for her next assignment preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ before heading back to India. I spent some time after church at the Good Morning Beautiful People Prayer Center preparing for weeks ahead for worship, Bible Studies and more. I find myself asking God what he desires to do right here in the city of Presque Isle, Maine. Your will not mine, I pray as I see God’s beautiful people pass on by the window.
Some friends stopped in and we anointed the premises once again and thanked God for his presence in this city. Faithful prayer warriors over the years bringing intercession for people, nations and beyond. Oh, what a day can bring.
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for another beautiful day to journey life with you. Father, thank you for protecting the children as they travel to and from school each day. Protect all that concerns them in our city. Expose every form of evil against them, we pray.
Father, we pray for all who live within our city and towns this morning. May not a soul go hungry and may you meet the needs of your beautiful people according to your riches in glory. Show us all the way we should take. We stand together for your will for our city.
Father, we pray for unity within our city. It is here that you command the blessing. (Psalm 133) Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Pray the blessings of God over your city today.
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. Psalm 133:1-3
