Is God On Your Side?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Let’s be thankful for prayer today. Communicating with the Creator of the Universe is an important part of every day. Everyone has life issues to deal with. Sometimes we feel hard pressed on every side, that’s a good reason to pray. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) about everything beautiful people. James 5 verse 16 tells us that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (woman) availeth much. The creator of the universe would not ask us to pray, to pray with such intense to receive nothing. He said He is watching over His Word to perform it and the question is I guess are we ready to receive it? Giving thanks for the answer after we pray is faith, before the answer even arrives. It is being confident that 1 John 5:14-15 will come to pass. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. That’s a good reminder for us all.
I remember praying for a friend’s house to sell. As I prayed for them one afternoon, I felt impressed to print the home out and mark sold across it. We pray, we believe God hears us when we pray, right? Now we are positioned to receive. It was by faith in God that he would sell the home and he did. Everything has a season, a timing and we know this from the writer of Ecclesiastes.
God tells us without faith it is impossible to please him. Once you thank Him for the answer to your prayer and you have your receiver open, you are now in position for His answer. Just keep thanking him that by faith that it is done. We are saved by faith, and we operate in every area of our lives by faith.
Here’s my prayer for us all today:
Father, you know what we have need of before we even ask. (Matthew 6:8). You desire for us to communicate with you through the power of prayer. Today, we lift every need of every reader across this globe before you. We thank you for the answer. Empower us all to stand strong in faith believing.
Together, we declare our receiver is open and we are in position for your answer. We give you thanks. We believe and therefore we receive. Amen.
And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive. Matthew 21 v 22
