Four Powerful Words This Morning…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Monday! Yesterday at church this sweet little lady near the back seems to bring a word from time to time. Yesterday, I meditated on those words and this morning they were the first words of my morning. Do not be deceived. This verse in Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. Whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
Deception is growing in the world today. God tells us in the last days things will get darker. He tells us to test the spirits. I have been praying for God to teach me by the power of his Holy Spirit because I have been deceived. Just because something looks good, sounds good, doesn’t mean it is good. If it doesn’t line up with God’s Word, it is not good. Run from it.
Recently, I was given a book. I looked it over and it was not a good book. It was listed under wellness. Be careful beautiful people. Keep those four words from the little lady ringing in your ears today and every day in the days ahead. Speak them right out loud this morning. Speak all of God’s promises out loud.
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for your Word this morning. Those Holy Words are life to our very bones. Father, thank you for forgiveness of sins this morning. Forgive us (me) when we believed man over your Word. Light our path today and every day with your Word. You are a God that does not lie.
Father, keep us from deception. Highlight anything that is in our lives today and every day that we are believing that is not of you. We desire to walk in all truth.
Father, keep us in the light as we walk the path of your Word before us as the world grows darker. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Spend some time in God’s Word today. Hide it in your heart and don’t be swayed by anything just because it looks good or sounds good.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:10
