The Morning Five…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Tuesday! The chilly mornings here in Aroostook keep me tucked inside the covers longer than I desire. I keep telling myself five more minutes, five more minutes and the clock ticks on. I open my drapes and let the warmth of the morning in. I love harvest, I just do.
Today begins a new month and harvest time will be in full bloom. I look forward to seeing what God will do in our lives, in our city, nation and in our world. Those steps of faith we took previously in the year, what will they harvest in the Kingdom of God for his glory? What will God do in this season over the ministry, ministries that carry his name? I pray advancement this morning. How about you?
I usually ask God for one word in the beginning of each year. On January 1, 2026, I penned that this would be the year of advancement for his Kingdom. Advancement it is and advancement it shall be. Are you ready to push forward towards that advancement?
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for the year of advancement. We are thanking you for enlarging our tent pegs and stretching our curtains wide. We will not hold back; we will lengthen our cords and strengthen our stakes. (Isaiah 54:2)
Father, every ministry that bears your name we dedicate back to you once again this morning. For you, oh Lord, own it all. We embrace the new season. May the days of harvest bring many to you as you continue to direct our paths and bless the work of our hands. Amen.
