Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Thursday. Every Thursday my first thoughts of the morning are, it’s another thankful Thursday. I make my list of seven things to be thankful for and then get on with my day. We all things to be thankful for. It changes a lot of things when we start the day with a day of thanksgiving.
God tells us in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning us. (1 Thessalonians 5:18.) Sometimes, I just need to talk it out with him and ask him to show me what he wanted me to give thanks for in a certain situation. Not everything is easy, but we have his promise on every situation.
Recently, I have been dealing with a person in my personal life with a big ego. I don’t think this individual could ever say they were wrong or say they were sorry. I feel for this person really as it must be a hard life to maintain that ego. Let’s add humility to our list of 7 this morning. Amen?

Father thank you that we are blessed to journey every day with you.
Father, thank you for mercy and grace. Thank you that everything we are or will ever become is because of the love, mercy and grace you have shown us. Thank you that you, oh God, oppose the proud but show favor to the humble. (James 4:6)
Father, you tell us in 1 Peter 5:6 to humble ourselves, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time you may exalt us. Thank you to the God of our salvation for the t life you have graciously given us. Amen.
