Say No To Double Mindedness Beautiful People…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Are you surprised when God answers your prayer? Are you staying in expectation? Are you only believing a little and hoping for the best? God tells us to pray and believe and that’s what we should be doing, right?
Life carries with it some disappointments, some sharp curves and turns that are hard on us. I wish life was perfect, but it’s not. He said trials would come and they sure do. He said to consider these trials pure joy in the book of James and we must.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for answered prayer. Thank you for wisdom. You told us to ask, and we would freely receive it. Thank you for the trials, thank you for strength. Thank you for working all things out for our good. (Romans 8:28)
Father your Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, you show yourself strong.
Father, thank you for victory this morning for your people. You carry us through to the other side of every trial. Amen.
