Prayer Changes Things…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As you know I moved a few months ago and have been unpacking boxes still looking for the handheld mixer along with some other household needs. Every time I unpack a box, I find things that are so meaningful to me. I have saved the most unusual items. Today, I will share one of them.
This blue corrugated plastic with the word prayer changes things Angel Murchison Lot #6 with a hole in the center for the spike that went through attaching it to the pavement. Who could ever throw that away? I have had the opportunity to put a few stakes in the ground here in Maine and beyond for Jesus. This one, I set out to change the world at the Northern Maine Fair. Two-hundred-dollar fee, Bibles, tracts and a potato barrel for the people’s prayers along with a borrowed card table, chairs and canopy I began the journey. I saw God answer prayer at that table that will make many believe in its power for a lifetime.
At first, I was a little challenged that my set up was placed near the bathroom. However, I soon discovered that I was strategically placed. Everyone needs to go to the bathroom and everyone needs prayer.
Today, let’s pray for a nation at war. We need God like never before.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that we can look to you for every answer. You hear every prayer and you answer accordingly (Isaiah 58:9)
Father, today we pray for our world. We need your presence like never before. You said oh God, that it is not by might, nor by power, but by your spirit. Fill the world today with your spirit oh God, we pray. (Zechariah 4:6)
Father, we ask for your intervention. We pray for peace and your hand of protection in the most powerful name known to man, Jesus Christ. We pray for wisdom for our leaders. Amen.
