Mom, I Loved You Before I Could Ever Say It…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy day! I was looking over the cards I received for Mother’s Day and the well wishes I received in notes, texts, and messages this morning. I previously had taken a picture of them and forgot to put a few cards in on my picture. Just an oversight on my part. This particular card had butterflies on it and captured my attention once again this morning. Sometimes oversights are for a reason.
Once I was being interviewed on a radio program and the nice man interviewing me was going to email me the date and time to meet at his station several towns away. I never received the email. After a few weeks I called him. He said I sent you the email, and you never responded. I checked furiously over my emails to see how I missed it while I still had him on the phone. He added to my distress as he went on to say that he had driven 90 miles into the studio and I wasn’t there. We agreed to meet that following Tuesday at the radio station although I had other plans. However, I felt I better change them to make this interview work. Then the nice man texted me to say he had to change the time of my interview as he forgot about the trip to the Capital to pray. He was taking a bus full and wanted to interview me before the bus left. You bet I asked if I could be part of the bus heading south as that was my original plan. God works in mysterious ways beautiful people, he sure does.
Back to the card. Isn’t it true a child loves their mother before they could ever speak? Children are a gift from God. Psalm 127:3 Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for the gift of children. May you always meet their every need. We put our trust in you. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. (Psalm 20:7) You provide in the most amazing ways.
Father, we pray protection around the children today. May darkness stay far, far from them. Thank you Jesus that you are the light of the world. Shine your light on them we pray. Amen.
