In The Quiet Of The Morning…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Thankful Thursday. Another day to be thankful for Jesus. Recently, I met a young man that was quite interesting. He sat at the table in a restaurant I was in and was drawing out his morning thoughts. I observed him at a distance and then as we were talking later, I inquired of what he was doing. His reply was this: I know there’s something out there and I am trying to connect with it. First thing in the morning, I draw my first thoughts. Of course, I inquired if he knew Jesus or heard of him and he had not. I shared with him as a writer; I look to my first thoughts of the morning as well in prayer with Jesus.
Then on my way home I met a young lady from another country. She too was a seeker. She had her hands folded like prayer hands. She was believing for a ride to her next destiny. She too hadn’t heard about Jesus but knew there was a power out there to believe in and she was seeking assistance.
There are many seekers today. Many have not even heard the name Jesus. That’s hard for me to comprehend, but I am finding it is really true.
Let’s pray for all the seekers today. Let’s pray they will find truth. Let’s pray we will learn more truth every day. We are all on a journey, Amen?
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for all the seekers around this globe today. They are looking for something, someone out in the universe and today we lift them up to you. We ask you by your spirit that you would encounter everyone that is seeking. Send someone to tell them the good news, the best news of Jesus. A man that wants to journey every day with them.
Father, you said it is not by might, nor by power but by your spirit. (Zechariah 4:6) Spirit reveal yourself as the good Father to all the seekers today, we pray. Amen.
