Hurricane Ian, Out To Sea. Even The Wind Must Obey!

Father today we pray for Florida. We come in agreement and pray hurricane Ian would stop in its tracks, reverse and go out to sea.

Father, we pray a hedge of protection around the people, their homes, their belongings. We pray you will intervene today on behalf of these beautiful people. I pray a ring of fire around my daughter and family. Just as you stopped the rain over one house to answer a prayer for a friend (her brother was having his roof finished), you are bigger than Hurricane Ian. We speak to you today, Hurricane Ian, be still, calm down and flee.

Father, we speak to the wind, and we say die down. Father, we speak to the rain, and we say let up. Father, you said to speak to the mountain, and we are today. Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Matthew 21:21-22)) The mountain of hurricane Ian you slow down, reverse and go out to sea. Jesus rebuke you.

Mark 4 tells us that day when evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” That’s the Jesus we know, the one that founded the sea, master of the wind and everything in heaven on earth must obey him.

Another great story in Matthew 8:26-28 And he saith unto them, why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, what manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! That’s the Jesus we know.

Father, thank you today for answering our prayer. Hurricane Ian be gone. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Aren’t you glad you got Jesus in your boat? He is always on your side.
