Rest In Him…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Patriots’ Day 2026. This morning it felt good to have a day at home without the busyness of preparing for work, daily chores, writing, etc. I awaken early and then find some more rest later in the morning. The mind, body, soul and spirit all need extra rest from time to time.
Take some extra time just to sit in his presence this day and find rest.
Let’s pray:
Father, we thank you for another day to journey life with you. Today being Patriots’ Day, we reflect on the history of this day.
Father, today may many across this globe find their peace and their rest in you. For your Word tells us in Deuteronomy 33:25: As thy days are so shall thy strength be.
Father, your Word tells us in Matthew 11:28-30 to take his yoke upon us and learn from him, for he is gentle and humble in heart, and it is in him, we will find rest for our souls. For his yoke is easy and his burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30) Amen.
