Good Friday… He Took It All Beautiful People

Good Friday… He Took It All Beautiful People

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Today is Good Friday the day Jesus was crucified. As I read John 19 once again this morning and thought about the death of Jesus, it moves my heart of how much he loved the world. It’s hard to comprehend how much with our human comprehension but today reminds us just of how much.  He did, he does and always will and loves to show us his great love. When Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there. So, they soaked a sponge in the wine, put it on a stalk of hyssop, and lifted it to His mouth. When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished.” And bowing His head, He yielded up His spirit.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for your great love for us. There is nothing that we can do to earn this. You loved us enough to pay the price, the full price and nothing can be added to it. You said it is finished.

Father, how do we ever say thank you? We want to worship you both day and night. Never forgetting our brokenness and how you turned our darkness into light. When you said the work was finished, the price has been paid, it’s exactly what you meant. Today, all across this globe, people can talk with you (pray) and receive forgiveness of their past, present and future sins. They can experience life abundantly here on earth (John 10:10) and eternal life in heaven. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Jesus paid for it all.

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10
