Did You Receive Your Love Letter?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Friday! As I was pondering this morning what to write and pray about, the writer of this song stopped by, Emily Rooney. She wrote this song for her husband of many years. The love they have shared together along with the trials is a blessing to behold.
This morning there is a love letter just for you. Whether you are single, divorced, married, re-married, or wondering if you are loved, you are. There is a heavenly Father that is in love with what he created, mankind. We are the only beings created in his image. Have you experienced his love?
I am moved with compassion when people feel his presence, his love for the first time. Some folk will have tears stream down their face as the God of this universe embraces them right where they are at. Some folks struggling with life issues that we may never experience. God loves broken people.
Today, God isn’t looking for the most religious folk, nor the one with the most money, nor the best education. He is looking for everyday people that will receive his love and go give it away to a broken world with broken people that need to experience his love. Are you one?

Father, thank you that there is no mountain we can’t climb with you. Thank you for loving everyday people. Our life issues don’t change your love for us. You see us through to the other side of each and every one. Your arm is not too short that you can reach down to the deepest pit.
Father, we pray you tear down the stronghold of religion over our lives, towns and cities. You died for us when we were yet sinners. We are saved by your grace and your grace alone. We can’t earn it no matter how good we are. We can’t buy it no matter how rich we are. It’s a free gift given from a God that loves people. We receive it once again today.
Father, draw many to yourself today. May they receive your love letter as the scales fall off their eyes from the god of this age that has blinded them. (2 Corinthians 4:4) Amen.
