At The End Of Every Day…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Recently a friend was telling me about the areas of struggle she had been dealing with. It seemed like a lot for one person. She repeatedly said the words I forgive them; I forgive her, I forgive him and she seemed to move on quite quickly even though the words were just words at this point. She was waiting for the healing to manifest from the actions. It was the first stage in moving forgiveness from words to heart. Her journey of forgiveness had begun. At the end of every day, she prayed the same prayer and chose to forgive all that done her wrong leaving justice for God himself. That seemed a great way to end every day, turning everything over to God.
Unforgiveness turns into bitterness and bitterness is like drinking poison. It ruins everything around us. Matthew 6:14-15 tells us if we forgive other people when they sin against us, our heavenly Father will also forgive us. But if we do not forgive others their sins, our Father will not forgive our sins. For all have come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
I wish I could tell you I have arrived in this area, but I am still a work in progress. How about you?
