Thankful Thursday In The City…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Thursday! Another day to give God thanks. I love Thursday evenings at the Good Morning Beautiful People Prayer Center here in Presque Isle, Maine. It is so nice to see everyone, and I love to see other people’s gifts given by God himself, put in action. People are so important to God, enough to die for. The anointed worship is always over the top. I pray you can come by for an incredible experience. God’s presence is here and the reports of things happening in people’s lives have been a real blessing. God is moving, and I am thankful as we come together in unity without the labels of denominations, towns and cities, he is answering quite quickly, for his glory alone.
I asked God yesterday to forgive me for getting involved in a conversation that went the wrong way. Even before I left my home yesterday, I messed something up. He shows me every day I am not perfect and it’s only by his grace, we are saved. I don’t know about you, but sometimes I need saving from myself. This is far from being funny, but I remember this story just like it was yesterday. I was at a meeting and the leader said if anyone comes to you and says this; don’t believe them. I remember saying to myself, who would ever be that dumb? Well guess what, God allowed it to happen in my life. He showed me that all I am or will ever become is because of his grace on my life. Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your mercy and grace over our lives today. Thank you for mercy and grace over our towns and cities today. We are thankful that you are the founder of this world and when you said let there be light, there was light. (Genesis 1:3) The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John1:5)
Father, your Word tells us hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. (Proverbs 13:12) Father, we pray fresh hope today in your beautiful people. Draw all man unto yourself, we pray. Your heart is that none would perish and your heart is our heart.
Father, sweep through the city of Presque Isle (name your town or city) and shine the light of your glory, we pray. Amen.
