There’s Power In The Blood Of Jesus…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Tuesday! I was thinking this morning of my brother Eldon, who now resides in heaven. As a young girl he took me with him during the summer. He took me to a Billy Graham Crusade once in Hartford, Connecticut, and to churches throughout Connecticut. I never knew how meaningful this would be to me until later in life. Sometimes I wish I could go back and glean from him. I think I would have paid more attention. He would call me and we would pray, sing and worship God in his final years. I am thankful for those memories. He had a big heart and helped a lot of people in his days here on earth.
Recently at a Thursday night prayer time at the Good Morning Beautiful People Prayer Center, the song was sung, The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power. He would sing that song and we would have church sometimes over the phone. He loved God and I am thankful for his influence on my life. Oh, the memories of the past.
Today, know God’s blood can reach to any place you are. There is power in the blood, the blood of Jesus.

Father, your Word tells us in Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace. 1 Corinthians 11:25 In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” Matthew 26:27-28 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.
Father, thank you for the blood. May we never take for granted the price you paid. Thank you for the power that is in that blood. Today, we can be set free because of the working power of the blood in our lives. We have the victory over addiction, sin, hopelessness and despair. Why? Because of the blood. Amen.
