A Steadfast Mind…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Do you worry about tomorrow? God tells us not to worry in Matthew 6:34. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Websters Dictionary describes worry as mental distress or agitation resulting from concern usually for something impending or anticipated. Come on now, who has worry? We don’t need that. Sometimes we have to take a few steps back and look at God’s record. It’s easy to talk about it, read about it, but not always easy to journey it. Worry is not our portion, Amen? Trusting God is. Sometimes it’s easier than at other times, and I am not sure why. How can we go wrong, when we journey life every day, with the Creator of the Universe? We just can’t. He tells us not to worry and we shouldn’t.
Today, there are people all around us that are worried. They worry about their tomorrows. Give them a dose of hope and joy today. Light their candle by sharing yours. Amen? Amen. No worries, he will give you the words to say.
Let’s Pray:
Father, your Word tells us not to worry, to put all our trust in you. That you will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. (Isaiah 26:3)
Father, thank you that just as Abraham believed God and it was accredited to him as righteousness, we believe God and it is accredited to us. Forgive us when we let the cares of this world creep in and overtake our thoughts.
Father, for the soul today that needs a dose of hope and joy, we pray they recieve it. You know every thought, you see every heart. May their ears hear or their eyes see you, working all things together for their good. (Romans 8:28) Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Sprinkle hope and joy everywhere you journey the day. Someone may need it.
